Meet our new Commissioner for the Asian American Quality of Life Advisory!

Our program coordinator and teacher Ms. Thuy Nguyen was officially appointed to the City of Austin’s Asian American Quality of Life Advisory Commission by Council Member Bill Spelman. She was confirmed by unanimous consent by Austin City Council on February 27, 2014. As a member of the Asian American Quality of Life Advisory Commission, Mrs. Nguyen will assist in advising the Austin City Council on issues relating to the Asian American and provide on-going guidance and support for City’s Asian American quality of life initiatives.
