Anh-Thu Cao
Ms. Anh is an ESL and Vietnamese Bilingual PreK-4th grade certified teacher since 2005. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Applied learning and development in early childhood education with a minor in Spanish from University of Texas at Austin. She is also a certified Master reading teacher since 2010. Ms. Anh was a student of the Vietnamese program in the 80s and now a teacher for the program. In 2012 and 2020, Ms. Anh was voted teacher of the year for Summitt Elementary. She enjoys learning and discovering new adventures with her kindergarten class everyday. Ms. Anh is married with twins and has a dog name Lady. She loves spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, scrapbooking, exercising, eating good food, shopping, making cards, and sleeping!

Andrea Pearson
Ms. Andrea is an ESL and EC-4th grade certified teacher. She has a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood studies from The University of Texas at Austin. She taught in a multi-age classroom (PK/K) for 2 years at Walnut Creek Elementary. She has been involved with the Vietnamese program since she began teaching in 2004. She loves the culture and all she has learned from her students over the years. In 2011 and in 2018 she was voted Summitt Elementary's Teacher of the Year. Ms. Andrea enjoys the adventure of being a mother to her son, Joseph, and daughter, Olivia. During her time off, Ms. Andrea loves spending time barbecuing with her family, reading, cooking and watching Longhorn football! Hook em Horns!
